What does a test at Innofest look like?

A good test is about daring to fail. And because every entrepreneur faces their own challenges, the innovation experts at Innofest use various testing methods. Below, you can see what is possible and which entrepreneurs have done it before you.

End User Test
What is the opinion of the end user? With this test, we ensure that the end user interacts with your product or service. This makes the End User Test very suitable for innovations that are ultimately intended for the consumer market. This can be done through methods such as in-depth interviews or surveys, but also through various other approaches if necessary to gather the right data. In most cases, festival visitors can be suitable participants, but volunteers or artists present at the festival can also be involved.

“It has been incredibly valuable to test with Innofest, we’ve gathered interesting data that we can build on. It was great to see how much fun people had while doing the exercises; almost everyone had a smile on their face!”– Movebite

Expert Review
Have your innovation tested and reviewed by an expert. This testing method is especially suitable for innovations that have a more complex nature. Think of innovations that play a key role within a specific infrastructure, such as energy or water innovations. During the festivals, a subject matter expert is typically present to provide valuable feedback.

A/B Test
Compare two innovations or situations with each other. These can, of course, be two different products, but also the same product in a varying setting. Which innovation performs better, or in which setting does the innovation perform best? The A/B test helps you find out.

Stress Test
What can the innovation withstand? With the stress test, we assess what your prototype can endure. For example, we can test how your product or service handles large numbers of users simultaneously. This test is especially suitable for technical innovations with a high number of users.

Technical Test
Does it work or does it not work? With the technical test, we check whether your innovation does what you expect. For this test, it’s crucial to have clear expectations beforehand and then see if you’ve been able to meet them.
