Greener has set out to make diesel-powered generators a thing of the past. At the Welcome to The Village festival, the company began using its battery to absorb peak demand for power. A month after this initial pilot, Greener cut diesel consumption at the Into The Great Wide Open festival by a third. On the back of this pilot, the company scaled up from one to nine batteries after the summer and has meanwhile struck a partnership with Greenchoice, a Dutch energy company that specializes in renewable energy. Going forward, Greener is focusing on flexible energy storage to accelerate the energy transition.
