Many residual products from all kinds of processes are disregarded, while they could actually be used to generate additional revenue. Chocoproef is made of residual products from the cacao industry and gives farmers an opportunity to boost their income. At the 2019 edition of the Oerol festival, the developers of the drink handed out tasters and got a feel for people’s response to the story behind the product. With many people liking the taste of the drink, Chocoproef can now confidently start producing it on a larger scale.
