Top Dutch Solar Racing is a multidisciplinary student racing team. Over 1.5 years period, they design, build and competed in several races with their own solarcar. They will compete in the solar racing world championship in October 2023: The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia. In this race, more than 60 teams from all over the world drive 3000 km through the heart of the Australian Outback and in 2023 the team get to represent the Netherlands. But for them to win the race they need to be a well-oiled machine which is aware of every obstacle that may cross their paths. That is why the students took a test drive during TT Festival.

The Top Dutch Solar Racing team looks back with great satisfaction on their test in which they simulated a race day. Among other things, this enabled them to encounter pitfalls in their communication and planning. On the same day, an evaluation was done with the entire team of students and coaches. Thanks to the outcomes of the test, they now know exactly what they will be working on in the coming period and can establish a solid basic protocol for communication.
