A can collecting mobile robot
During DGTL, the TinTrooper competes with regular trash bins to explore how people can be encouraged to recycle their cans. Oh, that's not all, word on the street is that there was a real-time boxing match between the TechTic robot and the regular trash cans.

In the battle against the 150 million cans that end up on the streets annually, TechTics developed the TinTrooper.

“It’s a unique solution for human-robot interaction aimed at encouraging consumers to recycle cans more effectively and raise awareness about the importance of addressing litter”, Edwin, founder of TechTic says.

This mobile robot approaches people and collects cans. Edwin: “The first prototype can store a hundred cans. We aim to create a version that can store up to five hundred. After emptying the robot, the bag of cans can be disposed of in the usual manner.”
