The ecological impact of fast fashion is well known. Roua Atelier wants to show that there are alternatives and had Mysteryland visitors create eco-friendly masterpieces using natural dyes obtained from food waste from the festival.

Roua ALHalabi, founder of Roua Atelier said, “Participants were delighted by the beautiful colors extracted from waste materials. Many also became aware through our talks of the impact of their clothing choices on our environment and health, and some pledged to look more carefully at clothing labels. This success inspires us to use it as a case study for future festivals and expand our reach.”
