Renset’s mobile and sustainable battery was used at Mysteryland to power the Innofest booth at the campsite. Teun van ‘t Veer, founder of Renset: “We had useful discussions with various stakeholders within the festival and tested the ergonomics of the battery with potential end users. We also wanted to know if the battery’s capacity matched practical festival applications. The insights gained turned out to be extremely valuable. We discovered that the battery, originally designed for use in construction, is perfectly suited for festival environments, albeit with some minor modifications. For example, mobility requirements during festival construction differ from those during the event itself, due to spatial constraints and logistical considerations. We are incorporating all these findings into the final design, which is expected to go on sale from early next year.”
