In a world dominated by mass production, creativity and personal stories are often missing from our interiors. Noord see Lights has developed a tool that lets you design your own lamps using recycled and plant-based materials—fully circular and truly unique.

At the Kwaku Festival, founders Mick and Juliette tested the design tool with visitors for the very first time. 35 participants joined in and enjoyed creating their own lamps. Creative visitors and gamers in particular responded with enthusiasm. At the same time, valuable areas for improvement emerged: participants missed the feeling that the lamp was truly their own design and wanted to see more colors and patterns. While the tool worked well technically, it provided important UX insights that could be applied immediately.

With this feedback, Noord see Lights is now focusing on simpler personalization options, a more user-friendly tool, and reaching a creative niche market. In this way, a circular alternative to interior design is created—one that puts personal style at the center.
