Less waste, more washing. Now that’s a brush with a future!

Clean Green Company is developing the Loev It: a reusable dish brush with a PHA handle and a replaceable brush head made from dried loofah. The brush head can be composted after use, while the handle is designed to last. With this, the team wants to reduce disposable brushes and plastic waste at holiday parks.

During TT Festival, Clean Green Company tested whether the brush is intuitive to use and how visitors respond to the concept. The results were promising: almost everyone could attach the brush head without instructions and start using it right away. The prototype also held up well throughout the test.

The test showed that sustainability is a strong selling point, but it’s not the only thing that matters. Ease of use, appearance and other practical benefits could make the Loev It even more appealing. The test also revealed differences between target groups. Female visitors were generally more enthusiastic than male visitors, something Clean Green Company wants to explore further.

So, what’s next? Finding out who really wants this brush and which features make people want to buy it. The team will continue testing with different audiences and explore how people respond to the product at a realistic price.
