Events often lack a central platform for hybrid fan engagement, while Gen Z increasingly expects digital access. JAT Technologies has developed a platform that allows organizers to offer livestreams, manage tickets, and engage fans worldwide.

At the Kwaku Festival, the team tested interest in livestreams and digital features. Visitors indicated that the physical festival experience remains most important, but livestreams are attractive for expensive or sold-out tickets. Exclusive content, such as backstage footage or interviews, proved especially valuable. The test provided concrete insights into willingness to pay, quality expectations, and user experience.

Based on these results, JAT is working on positioning livestreams as a complement to the live experience, adding unique content, optimizing payment models, and increasing visibility through well-known artists. In this way, events become more accessible, inclusive, and future-proof.
