DGTL, the Revolution Foundation, Innofest and Oerol teamed up to support impact initiatives to create test cases at DGTL ADE. We’ve selected groundbreaking initiatives that make the festival and creative sector more sustainable. Early testing in a real life setting helps them to improve their product or service and increase their impact.

Droppie makes recycling profitable and easy. You can drop off textiles, electronics, and deposit items for recycling and earn between 5 to 15 cents per kilogram using the Droppie app. Once you’ve collected 5 euros, the amount is deposited directly into your account. At DGTL ADE, Droppie will challenge visitors’ knowledge of PET plastics and recycling techniques. Are you up for the challenge?
Nativenergy
Renewable energy systems are often celebrated for being eco-friendly, but they can still affect landscapes and biodiversity. Nativenergy wants to change that with their innovative wind turbine, which uses advanced aerodynamic principles for maximum efficiency. The goal is for businesses and commercial buildings to eventually install these turbines on rooftops. MycoFarming
MycoFarming is leveraging the power of fungi to clean the planet. Their technology uses fungal mycelium, the “root network” of fungi, to filter pollutants like nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater. These biofilters remove 60-90% of contaminants, transforming them into fertile biomass for agriculture. At DGTL ADE, MycoFarming will purify toilet water with fungi to test their system. Greenswapp is revolutionizing grocery shopping by offering a platform that reveals the carbon footprint of your purchases in seconds. Just scan a barcode, and it will suggest more sustainable alternatives, helping you make greener choices with ease. Whether you represent a supermarket or a food brand, or simply want to shop more consciously, Greenswapp can help lower CO2 emissions. During DGTL ADE, they’ll be testing their CO2 labels at the food stands and bars.
Roboat
Roboat is bringing autonomy to inland waterways, converting both new and existing vessels into fully autonomous or semi-autonomous systems. Their technology helps onboard crews with navigation, provides remote monitoring, and collects detailed operational data. At DGTL ADE, Roboat will demonstrate how their autonomous systems can enhance vessel efficiency.
